California Springs Classic Bicycle Water Bottle, Multiple Sizes and Colors

This water bottle is exactly what you pay for. It's not expensive, so it does not have anything flashy, but it is large, so it holds quite a bit of water/beverage and feels fairly heavy duty for a $3 bottle.

Sigg Kids Water Bottle (0.4-Liters)

It's easy for my kids to use (4 and 5). They can unscrew the top and close it so it doesn't spill. It's durable, safe, fairly easy to take apart and clean, and the kids loved picking out their personal water bottle.

Klean Kanteens with Steel Loop & Steel Flat Caps | All Sizes - 12 oz, 18 oz, 27 oz, 40 oz. Mix & Match

My family has used Klean Kanteens for years - taken them to work, school, and hiking. They don't leak and can stand up to being dropped. The mouth is large enough to fill the bottle with ice, and the water stays cool through hours of hiking (even in very hot climates). Condensation will appear on the outside, but that's to be expected. Hard to improve on this. They are the best.

BioGreen Biodegradable BPA-Free Sport Bottle with Wide Mouth DuoFlow Lid (26-Ounce)

I really liked the fact that this water bottle was so environmentally friendly. However it only lasted 4 months. My son dropped it on the ground and the top broke off. It might be a little more fragile than others but I think if you are careful about not dropping it on the concrete it should hold up fine. I would buy it again.
